I've done a lot of LSD in my life. Although I realize it probably did make me more intelligent in many ways, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole now, knowing what I know about the way drugs affect the brain. Unfortunately, it's not true that it's not addictive, or not "that" addictive. That was believed for a very long time, but now much more is understood about what happens in the brain when you add a fun substance. I had a hard time letting go of LSD. I was addicted.
I completely agree, ... ( 2 weeks ago by mamamamelina)
I completely agree, but it is completely possible to totally FUCK your brain using LSD. Take it from someone who did it several times a week during the first year of high school. It took me a while to regain full range of language. I don't regret doing acid, but it has consequences. People need to understand that there is a MAJOR difference in experimentation and abuse. But, I'm not saying that you don't realize that.

Dude... what are ... ( 1 week ago by virtue2goso)
Dude... what are you talking about?! Acid isn't a physical or psychologically addictive substance. It might be addictive in the sense that it's abso-fucking-lutely-amazing and you just want to experience it again, but the same can be said about a bag of cheetos or chocolate pie or a roller coaster. LSD is a miracle of nature and can be used as an entheogen to unlock the most important parts of the human conscious. You shouldn't have done it many times a week though, that was silly. Peace.
Weeelll, you ... ( 1 week ago by mamamamelina)
Weeelll, you clearly don't know about addiction if you think that LSD is not addictive. And you're absolutely right---cheetos and chocolate pie are addictive, but rollercoasters are not. Any substance that enters the body and messes with your brain are possibly addictive. And you're right, it was silly for me to take that much acid. Two things I had against me: being 14 years old, and being told that it wasn't addictive.
Acid is amazing. But, it's an illusion. It's no more real than MTV.

I am sorry but I ... ( 1 week ago by CmastaSalT)
I am sorry but I completely disagree with you. LSD pulled me out of our continuous evolution process and let me see reality from a different, more benevolent dimension of pure bestowal. The more people spend time understanding this dimension the further we evolve our consciousness. This would result in no religion, no war on drugs, no republicans or conservatives, no democrats, no racism or prejudice. Just peace. Happiness. Love. Freedom. Best wishes to you and happy tripping!

mamamamelina- ... ( 1 week ago by PeaceLoveAbby)
mamamamelina- perhaps you say that LSD is addictive, but I think that is completely dependent on the personality. Studies have shown that it isn't physiologically addictive (meaning there are no withdrawl symptoms, aside from calling flashbacks a withdrawl symptom). I don't think it's normally psychologically addictive. I think someone with an extremely addictive personality may become "addicted" to it, but a person with normal range of urges won't. So, in general, clinical studies say it isn't.
continued... ... ( 1 week ago by PeaceLoveAbby)
continued... However, you may be an acception. If you're a smoker, or a heavy drinker, or have impulse issues, it would be likely that you became "addicted" because your brain doesn't know when it's had enough, even for its good. Like I said though, I don't know your personality, so you may be an acception.

Well, I'm not part ... ( 6 days ago by mamamamelina)
Well, I'm not part of this "exception" that you're referring to. Sure, some people have a predisposition to fall into addictions, but addictive substances are just that. Addictive. It's not necessarily the PERSON who has the predilection towards addiction so much as the inherent nature of the substance. I'm not saying I'm for or against the use of LSD, I'm just saying it's important for people to get their facts straight before they ingest any drug.
But... a ... ( 5 days ago by PeaceLoveAbby)
But... a physiologically addictive substance, by it's clinical terms, is one that alters the body's chemistry to the point that there are withdrawl symptoms when a person no longer recieves that substance. LSD DOES encounter tolerance, yes, but only in slight increments, and it has no withdrawl symptoms that I know of. And due to the startling effects of LSD (it wore me out, personally), I find it very hard to believe that it's psychologically addictive too. IDK, this is all just clinical speak.

only the people that used those drugs are motivated enough to have done something about it and give the next generation some sense of belonging to this earth rather than the other way around. But I guess the question was a rethoric one.
Serenity, Tranquility, and Peace; I had never heard of that drug before. While I'm not using caffeine, alcohol or tabacco, I may aswell investigate using this one.
